Stephen Seymour Sensei (6th Dan) has been training Aikido for over 40 years, and is the representative of Takeda Yoshinobu Shihan (8th Dan) in Australia. He has drawn influence over the years from many instructors, notably Suzuki Yasuyuki (7th Dan), and more recently William Gleason (7th Dan, Shobu Aikido of Boston). Influenced by William Gleason, he has hence focussed primarily on the principles of aiki (also known as internal power). Seymour Sensei has also attended several seminars by reknowned aiki expert Dan Harden, and utilises his concepts and exercises in his training.
